Have you made a commitment to health and wellbeing? Celebrate your achievements by entering The Inspiring Wellbeing Awards 2018 – now open for entries.

This national award scheme, staged by The Wellbeing Symposium, recognise the very best, innovative and inspiring interactions within the field of wellbeing. Now in the second year, they provide an opportunity to raise your profile in the wellbeing arena.

The Inspiring Wellbeing Awards presentation will take place on at the inaugural VIP event on Tuesday 21 February, the night before The Wellbeing Symposium 2018. As well as being invited to the awards night, finalists will be given free tickets to The Wellbeing Symposium. For 2018, the categories are:

Inspiring Wellbeing Award for the Individual

Open to persons showing positive commitment to their own wellbeing. This may be anything from improving physical health and overcoming illness to making a commitment to better mental health to achieving a new fitness milestone.

Inspiring Wellbeing Award for the Community

Open to those who have made a difference to the wellbeing of a community. Entrants could be a charity, organisation, volunteer or member of community. It could be for ongoing work or a particular project – e.g. a community gardening project, a volunteer-led park run event or mindfulness group held at local village hall.

Inspiring Wellbeing Award for the Workplace

Open to businesses that focus on workplace wellbeing and employers that have put strategy in place to enhance the health and wellbeing of their staff. Businesses could have introduced a new programme that gives employees access to regular health checks or a new workplace happiness initiative that rewards staff.

As well as three category winners, one entrant will be win flagship Outstanding Contribution to Wellbeing Award, the flagship prize sponsored by headline sponsor Maximus.

The entry process is simple and involves an online form with space for up to 300 words, giving entrants an opportunity to detail their wellbeing journey and what milestones have been achieved.

Deadline for the entries is 20th December.
